In Wisdom Studies we speak of Optimal Grip (Vervaeke), and Ethical Coping (Varela). These capabilities are crucial individually, in Teams, and in systems. 

Takdīr is also an IEA-Accredited Enneagram School, one of only three in Africa, founded in order to train coaches and facilitators in trauma-sensitive, client-centric, and non-boxing applications of the Enneagram.

Founding Director

Dr. Ingrid Hurwitz

My background is in Strategy Consulting (Monitor-Deloitte), working across sectors, and in corporate executive roles in Sustainability, L&D, and Leadership Development. 

I hold a trans-disciplinary PhD (UJ, SA) that links Cognitive Science to personal development. I am certified in various modalities including Imago® and the NeuroAffective Relational Model® (NARM).
